Aladdin from 1992 is the 31st Disney Classics film. It is based on the arabic folktale with the same name from One Thousand and One Nights. The movie follows the street urchin Aladdin and his monkey Abu, Princess Jasmine, The Genie from the magical lamp, the flying carpet, the Royal Vizier Jafar and his parrot Iago and their adventures in the arabic city of Agrabah. In 2019 a remake came out from Disney. This time the film is not animated, it is instead made with real actors. The new movie is directed by none other than Guy Ritchie.
