Masters of the Universe is sometimes just called He-Man, after the main hero of the franchaise. It is a series of toys, action-figures, several animated TV series, comics, video games and two movies. One of the movies is animated, the other one is live action. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is created by Mattel and it all started in 1981.
The series is centered around Prince Adam / He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. He fights against the evil sorcerer Skeletor on planet Eternia. There is also a spin-off series about He-Mans sister She-Ra and her battle against the Evil Horde on planet Etheria.
