British Secret Service agent James Bond 007 with licence to kill was created in 1953 by author Ian Flemming. Flemming featured Bond in twelve novels and two short-story compilations. After Flemmings death in 1964 several other authors have contributed to the series with new adventures for 007. James Bond has become everything from TV to radio, comics, video games and film. It is probably the movies that are the most well known. Dr No from 1962 with Sean Connery in the role as Bond was the first feature film. Connery played Bond in a total of seven films. After him we have seen George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig take on the role as 007.
