The God of War franchise started in 2005 with the first game for the Sony Playstation 2. The series has since then become one of Sony’s flagship titles for the Playstation. God of War centers around the Spartan warrior Kratos. He is tricked by Ares, the God of War, to kill his own wife and daughter. After that his life becomes a constant battle against both the gods and all the creations of Hell. After spending most of his battles in ancient Greece Kratos arrive in Scandinavia where he meets the Norse gods.
