There have now been 12 slasher films, some novels, comic books, video games and a television series in the Friday the 13th series. The films center around Jason Voorhees, a boy that drowned at summer camp Camp Crystal Lake. He died beacause of the negligence of the camp staff. Decades later the lake in known to be cursed and there have been several mass killings there. In all of the movies Jason Voorhees is the killer, or there are peaople inpired by Jason.
