In Shadow of the Colossus we follow Wander, a young man that together with his horse travel though a desolate landscape. He’s on the hunt for sixteen so called Colossi. They only way he can bring the young girl Mono back to life is by destroying all the Colossi. The game has a minimalist design and a unique atmosphere. The soundtrack is a big part of this. Shadow of the Colossus is by many considered to be one of the best video games of all time. The game is developed by SCE Japan Studio and Team Ico. It is directed by Fumito Ueda and as the developer name suggests it is the spiritual successor to Ico. Shadow of the Colossus was released for the Sony Playstation 2 in 2005 and has since come out for both the PS3 and PS4 in new versions.
